Living is an ongoing exploration of the living and interior spaces we inhabit and the ways they become extensions of the body, memory, and lived experience. Bedrooms, living rooms, and other domestic environments begin as physical spaces, but through inhabitation they become places—shaped by rest, growth, intimacy, movement, and the accumulation of memory. Hadieh is interested in this transformation: how a space becomes personal through the experiences that unfold within it, and how bodies, emotions, and memories become embedded in the environments they occupy. Across different periods of her practice, she has returned to these living spaces through changing materials and visual languages, while continuing to explore questions of belonging, embodiment, memory, and the relationship between the body and the spaces it calls home.
