Architecture of Resilience is an ongoing series exploring the tension between randomness and the meanings we create to make sense of our lives. Chance continually interrupts the structures we build, while we repeatedly try to organize, understand, and give meaning to what happens to us.

Through architectural spaces, figures, dots, and layered transparent surfaces, Hadieh creates a shifting visual universe where order emerges from randomness, only to be disrupted and reshaped again. The architectural forms become representations of the meanings and structures we construct, while the unpredictable marks and processes reflect the forces that remain beyond our control.

Rooted in Hadieh’s experiences of motherhood, migration, and womanhood, the series reflects on the ongoing process of adapting to circumstances, rebuilding, and finding meaning within uncertainty. Architecture of Resilience considers resilience not as the ability to control what happens, but as the ability to continue creating meaning when life refuses to follow the structures we have built.
